Grants Available to Train New Yorkers for the Green Economy
The U.S. Department of Labor is now accepting applications for Green Jobs Training Grants. These competitive grants will provide $500 million of Recovery Act funding for workforce training initiatives. Click here for an overview of the grant opportunities.
Organizations in New York City that prepare workers for jobs in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries are encouraged to apply for the following grants:
- Energy Training Partnership Grants
- Pathways Out of Poverty Grants
- State Energy Sector Partnership and Training Grants
- Green Capacity Building Grants
- State Labor Market Information Improvement Grants
