Rahall Announces Recovery Act Funding for McDowell County Community Facility
07/30/09U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a $300,000 grant and loan award from the USDA Rural Development's Community Facilities Program for the Travel Beautiful Appalachia Inc. (TBAI) Algoma Community Center/Wellness Center in McDowell County. Funds for this project are being made available immediately through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which Rep. Rahall supported.
