Careers with the CAO

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides a diverse range of services to the U.S. House of Representatives. The 650 employees of the CAO support the 435 Representatives and their staffs, which poses a wide array of challenges and opportunities for CAO employees. In support of the country’s democratic process, employees within the CAO organization work in an exciting, fast-paced and demanding environment – one that brings with it the chance to apply skills, knowledge and experience in real-time situations that demand forward thinking, quick responses and immediate solutions.
