Buchanan to Question SBA Administrator Small Business Committee Hearing to Examine SBA Programs

Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) will hear testimony today from Small Business Administration Administrator Karen Mills.  Buchanan will participate in a Small Business Committee hearing entitled “Oversight of the Small Business Administration and its Programs.”

Buchanan Wins Approval of $850,000 for Area Health and Education Projects

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) has won approval from the House of $850,000 in federal funding for area health and education programs.  The House Fiscal Year 2010 “Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Act” (H.R. 3293) that passed the House today includes $850,000 Buchanan requested to improve health care and educational opportunities in Florida’s 13th Congressional District.

Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that the House has approved $750,000 in federal funding sought by Buchanan for transportation and community service projects in Florida’s 13th District.  The Fiscal Year 2010 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act (H.R.3288) passed the House last night.
