Scalise Working for Strongest Flood Protection, Option 2 and “Pump to the River”
Washington, DC — Congressman Steve Scalise introduced legislation on Friday afternoon (HR 3169) that will settle the dispute between the Corps and Louisiana officials by clarifying that the Corps has the authority to proceed with Option 2 for the 17th Street and Orleans and London Avenue Canals.
